Military Transfer Credits
At Argosy University, we recognize the training you have had in the military and value the skills you have developed, such as leadership, discipline, and self-motivation. Veteran students bring invaluable real-life experience to Argosy University classrooms. We will evaluate your Joint Service Transcripts or Community College of the Air Force transcript to determine if we can award college level credit for your prior learning.
Argosy University recognizes credit from non-traditional education sources such as College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) and DANTES (Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support) Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) exams. Evaluation for award credit based on these exams is done through the registrar’s office.
Military personnel, veterans and their families receiving military education benefits while attending Argosy University are required to submit transcripts for any previous education or training for evaluation, granting of prior credit, and possible shortening of the length of the program.
Military Advanced Education Magazine Award
Argosy University schools were honored by Military Advanced Education (MAE) as Top Schools in its 2017 MAE Guide to Colleges & Universities. The guide presents results of a questionnaire of the military-friendly policies enacted at nearly 600 institutions to arm students with information about schools that go out of their way to give back to our men and women in uniform. This year, institutions were evaluated on their military culture, financial aid for veterans, flexibility, on-campus support, and online support services. They appear on the 2017 MAE Guide to Colleges & Universities: http://www.kmimediagroup.com.
